The Hytera PD565 2 Way Radio is an entry level, affordable digital display radio (available in UHF and VHF frequencies). It has been ergonomically designed and is light and durable making it ideal for someone on the go. Rated to IP54 (making the radio splash proof and protected from major dust ingress).

Secure communication is available via basic digital encryption and scrambler feature in analog mode. The battery life of the radio can be up to 16 hours in digital mode operating in a 5-5-90 cycle, making this radio ideal for use throughout a whole shift.

The Hytera PD565 comes complete with excellent noise reduction making the radio ideal for noisy environments. Its compact size makes it easy to carry about. 32 channels allow for multiple departmental users (each department could be assigned their own channel), with the voice encryption making the radio ideal for handing sensitive information, thereby allowing onlycertain people to hear certain communications.

Compact, lightweight and easy to operate

The handhelds of the PD5 series are particularly ergonomic and easy to operate. With a weight of only 280 g, the PD565 offers a high level of mobility comfort.

Long battery service life

The lithium-ion battery (1500 mAh) included in the scope of delivery achieves an operating time of at least 16 hours (operating cycle 5-5-90). With the optionally available 2000-mAh battery, it will even be 20 hours.

Support of analog and digital mobile radio

The PD565 was developed in compliance with the ETSI mobile radio standard Digital Mobile Radio (DMR). The handheld radios support the conventional DMR operation and can also be operated in analog mode. That makes this handheld the ideal companion for the move to digital mobile radio.

Pseudo trunkung

With the patented pseudo trunking, this radio dynamically utilize the timeslots of a frequency. As a result, they can utilize both timeslots in DMO and RMO mode in the conventional DMR operation. This guarantees an efficient frequency utilization.
