The IC-F25SR replaces the IC-F22SR and offers maximum flexibility and instant communication between members of a group in and around buildings and over short distances. It's simple to use with only three controls; transmit button, volume control and channel selector. The IC-F25SR is extremely lightweight and easy to carry. With a slim-line, curved casing the transceiver fits comfortably in the hand. Durability has been built in as the new series meets tough US Military standards, MIL-810C, D and E for shock and vibration. These factors combine to provide high reliability, even in the toughest environments. The IC-F25SR delivers all 8 of the new UHF channels and a built in CTCSS signalling capability allows for more privacy in conversation. Channel searching is easy for the user because the radio automatically does it for you. The IC-F25SR has an auto-channel selection function to find a free channel. The radio also has a group call function that allows exclusive groups to use the equipment without interference from each other. A ringer function gains the user’s attention, which adds a spot of familiarity for first time users and a Smart Ring function lets you know whether the recipient has received your call.
